Explore AssessmentsWhat Mental Health Can Look Like
It Doesn’t Always Look Like a Crisis.
Mental health challenges can show up in your work, relationships, physical health and the way you respond to everyday pressure.
You do not have to wait until everything falls apart before asking for support.
- Feeling constantly stressed, tense or overwhelmed
- Losing interest in things you used to enjoy
- Feeling disconnected from yourself or other people
- Struggling with sleep, focus or motivation
- Becoming more irritable, reactive or withdrawn
- Using substances or distractions to cope
- Carrying the effects of trauma or difficult experiences
- Feeling pressure to handle everything on your own
- Experiencing conflict in your relationship or family
- Questioning your confidence, direction or identity
- Having difficulty adjusting to change, loss or fatherhood
- Feeling exhausted from work, caregiving or responsibility
If something feels different, harder or increasingly difficult to manage, that is enough reason to start a conversation.

Who does MFM work with?
More for Men supports men, boys, teens, couples and families. You do not need to be in crisis to reach out. If something feels off, harder than it used to be, or you just want to talk through what you are navigating, that is reason enough.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly or start with a free consultation. No referral, no paperwork, no hoops.
Is therapy covered by insurance?
Many extended health plans cover sessions with a Registered Provisional Psychologist. Check with your provider to confirm your coverage. Grant can provide receipts for direct billing or reimbursement.
What happens in the first appointment?
The first session is about getting a clear picture of what you are dealing with and what you want to work on. It is a conversation, not an interrogation. You set the pace and Grant works from there.
Does MFM offer couples therapy in Cochrane?
Yes. Grant works with couples in person at the Cochrane office, supporting communication, conflict, trust and relationship patterns.
